Swensons for sure - I have to go there everytime I go back home.
Luigis - Also a favorite - There didn't used to be a line back in the day - now a good 30 minute wait each time.. Craziness.

Some of my favorites - the wash in Sand run..Where my Mom used to speed up in the car really fast so that we made a huge wave. I grew up in Highland square (I am straight) and there was a ton of great restaurants/stores. The movie theatre in Highland square is still awesome - plus they serve booze. Mary Coyles Ice cream is a classic, and you can't forget Two Turtles.

Akron was a great place to grow up. I am priveledged.
