Firestone High's Wall of Fame

Congratulations to The Black Keys for making Firestone High School's Wall of Fame. The band went to Akron on Sunday to hang their photo on the high school's Alumni Hall of Fame and to take a tour of their alma mater. To read more about the band's latest honor, click HERE.

I read your blog frequently and I just thought I’d say keep up the amazing work!

Firestone should change it to:
"THE BLACK KEYS firestone high WALL OF FAME"
You Guys are the absolute shit! The deepest, grooviest, most profoundly talented, soulful people to come along in either of the recent centuries. Your music hits like the way users must feel heroin (no adverse side effects, mind you). I hear the hear it all, from Junior to the Future, with all your riffs and percussion. As a native of Painesville, you guys have dished some freakin' serious Ohio pride!
I'm in the front row, May 8th, in Seattle. If you guys can do lunch, dinner, or after the show, in the finest joint in town, with 3 of your biggest fans, I'll donate heavily to the charity of your choice,

Congratulations guys! I went to Firestone High my freshman year. Class of '97 (though I doubt I'd be remembered... very shy back then.) Anyways, just wanted to say I love your music. I love that two guys from our generation can do something out of the box, original sounding and fresh! Keep Rockin!

That's amazing they were able to do that. Congrats guys. P.S. = I would love to meet you guys in person and play guitar with you, Dan Auerbach. I can play over 10 of your songs plus other material. I would love to meet you!
