I used to have an older metal Tonka Truck- Then it got donated to Goodwill. It's okay though because it lives on in a b&w photograph I took before its exit out of my life and into someone else's.

It's strange how life works because I was out last night in an industrial area, driving around, and I passed a piece of yellow machinery that had "Tonka" on it and it made me think of that little yellow toy- and today I'm writing about it.

Wanted to say I saw you guys years ago at the Southgate House when you opened for Sleater Kinney. Fell in mad love with your music and came back to see your show again. I remember standing in the lobby by the bar when Dan popped out to survey the crowd. Made me smile! You guys seem really cool. Hope to see you all in Columbus this time. (?)
